Give Away Terms & Conditions

By entering this Give Away hosted by Wild Heart Weddings, you agree to the following terms and conditions of the competition:

​

1. Entries will open at 12:00 on the 24th of July 2023 (SAST) and close at 12:00 on the 31st of August 2023 (SAST).

​

2. The winner of the competition will receive a “Standard Digital Wedding Photography Package” from Wild Heart Weddings, valued at R15 000, and includes the following:

1. 1 photographer for 10 hours of coverage.

2. 350 Edited Images

3. Digital Image Delivery & a USB with all your photos on them.

​

3. The winner of the competition will receive a “Standard Video Package” from The Story of Us, valued at R20 000, and includes the following:

1. 1 videographer for 10 hours of coverage.

2. A 5–7-minute highlights video, capturing the highlights of your day.

3. Includes the recording of speeches at the reception.

​

4. The winner of the competition will receive a R6000.00 voucher from Something New Bridal. This voucher is not refundable for cash and will cover the following:

a). R6000 off from any designer dress sold in Something New Bridal's studio in Johannesburg.

b). In the event that the winner will want Something New Bridal to design and create their wedding dress, the R6000 voucher may still be used. This will include: 

i) Up to R6000.00 of fabric/s which will be used to create the dress. Fabric/s includes lace and all raw materials used to create the dress. Fabric selection must be from Something New Bridal’s range of sourced fabrics. These will be presented to the winner and best matched to their reference images of the dress they would like created. Something New Bridal cannot guarantee an exact match on laces to reference images.

ii)The winner will need to provide Something New Bridal with a brief and or description of the dress they would like created. In the event that the cost to execute this brief exceeds the voucher amount of R6000.00 the winner will either need to cover the additional costs required to make the dress, or, reduce the design requirements of the dress in order for the total labour and material cost not to exceed R6,000.00.

5. In the event that the total cost of the dress falls below R6000.00 the winner will not be able to exchange the excess for cash or similar.

​

6. All Dress fittings required to complete the dress design and creation process by Something New Bridal, must take place at Something New Bridal’s fitting studio in Johannesburg. Any travel costs incurred by the winner in order to attend fitting sessions will covered by the winner of the competition and not by Something New Bridal.

​

7. The winner of this competition will also receive up to 8 hours of photographic coverage for their wedding day, on 35mm film, by Pretty Handsome Films. Up to 3 rolls of film are included in the film photography component of this competition. This includes the purchase of the film, as well the development and scanning of the film. Pretty Handsome Films will source and purchase suitable film and use a trusted supplier for the development and scanning of the film. Due to the nature of film photography and the inherent risk of using film as a medium, no guarantee can be placed on the final delivery of the film.

8. The winner of this competition will also receive a 'Wedding Stationery Design' Giveaway by Pretty Handsome Films. Included in this is a custom designed digital invitation and relevant 'Thank You' cards. 

a) If the winner has already created and sent out wedding invitations, the winner can swop this out for one of the following services: Wedding Program or Seating Chart (the relevant size to be the winner's choice). 

b) One revert session is included. 

c) Two-meet-ups are included. The first meeting will discuss the initial design direction, and the second meeting will be for any reverts. 

d) The winner should note that no printing costs are included. The printing will be at the full discretion of the winner. However, printing files can be set up for you to send through to a printer.

9. If the winner’s wedding venue is further than 50km from Wild Heart Weddings, the Story of Us's & Pretty Handsome films head office in Fourways, Johannesburg, any travel and accommodation costs required to execute the film photography component of this prize must be covered in full, by the winner. This includes travel to the venue, suitable accommodation, food as well as travel from the venue back to Johannesburg.

 

10. The winner of the competition will also receive a free engagement shoot from Wild Heart Weddings. This will include: 

a) 1 photographer

b) 60 Edited Images

c) 1 hour of coverage

​

11.The winner of the competition will also receive a free professional make-up look from Nella Duarte Make-up just for the engagement shoot. Please note the following terms & conditions:  

a) A designated make-up artist for 60-90 minutes. 

b) The make-up look does not include lashes. 

c) This does not include travel. 

d) The winner of the competition will have to meet at Nella Duarte's studio for the makeup look. 

e) Includes the usage of professional makeup products. 

​

12. Winners will be decided using third party software that randomly selects a winner in a fair and unbiased manner. Wild Heart Weddings will source this software.

​

13. Winners must have followed all of the following wedding vendors involved in the giveaway to be viable to win the competition.

14.Winners must have shared the Instagram post to their story, and tagged at least one friend in the comments. 

 

15. All prizes are non cash redeemable and non cash refundable.
